Anthony Bourdain meets Miron Zownir in PARTS UNKNOWN - The BERLIN Episode June 9, 2018 CNN 

A few months before his suicide Emmy winner, gourmet cook and bestselling author Anthony Bourdain met with Miron Zownir in Berlin and featured a comprehensive photographic retrospective of Zownir's Berlin photographs from almost three decades and excerpts from his film work in his PARTS UNKNOWN - The BERLIN Episode. Bourdain takes us into Berlin's history of the Weimar era of the early 20th century through the 70s and 80s and meets with interesting contemporary artists. Bourdain, who saw Berlin as a great island of freedom for artists, musicians and creatives from all over the world, including a long line of characters, also admired by Bourdain, like Fritz Lang, George Grosz, Christopher Isherwood, David Bowie and Iggy Pop.

CNN decided to show the Berlin episode on the occasion of the death of Anthony Bourdain on June 9, 2018.
